Global Document Variables

This feature allows users to create document variables that will be available for use on all documents.

 MicroSoft Word

When creating or modifying a document, click the button from the merge toolbar.

The Select Document Variable Type will be displayed.

Click the button next to your selection:

• Individual Document Variables:  Document variables setup for and specific to this document only.  These variables will not be available on any other documents.
• Global Document Variables:  Document variables setup on this document but can be used on other documents.  These variables will be available in the Document Variable list for all documents.

 Corel WordPerfect

When creating or modifying a document, click the button from the WordPerfect toolbar.

The Select Document Variable Type will be displayed.

Click the button next to your selection:

• Individual Document Variables:  Document variables setup for and specific to this document only.  These variables will not be available on any other documents.
• Global Document Variables:  Document variables setup on this document but can be used on other documents.  These variables will be available in the Document Variable list for all documents.
