Entering New Clients

Please take a moment to review these important issues before entering your forwarder or creditor clients, as some of this information cannot be modified after the initial setup.

If possible start small by adding a client with a small number of debtors to see how CMWin handles transactions and remittance reporting.
Consider withholding arrangements: Is your remittance gross or net?
Attorney commission basis and withholding are very important since your remittance reports are reflected by how your client is set up. Each client may have a different setup.

Other important setups are:

Accounting [Commercial], 3. Multi Claim Report With Claim Level Cost Funds Single Claim Report With Claim Level Cost Funds 2. : 1. Multi Claim Report With Client Level Cost Funds [Retail],
Client is: 1. Forwarder, 2. Creditor.

This settings are very difficult to change. Please ensure that you have picked the proper Accounting Configuration before entering financial transactions.
