YGC Defaults - ULSettings

CollectMax allows users to setup some default values for the Forwarder Settings. These will be used by default when adding a new Forwarder but can be changed at any time. The settings control the information that is uploaded to your Forwarders. The default settings should be used to define the most used settings. All these settings can be changed at anytime after the Forwarder account is added.

From the Management Tab in the You've Got Claims Interface, to display the Management Tab.

Click the to display the YGC Interface Defaults Screen.

Click the button to get to the Forwarder ID Defaults Screen. The first tab will be the Type 30.

Record Type 30 - Financial Transaction

Select the Financial Transaction Defaults on this screen. If most of your Forwarders typically have the same setting for financial transaction, set the defaults here.

Select from the following options:

• Upload Direct Payments: Select this option if your Forwarders typically want you send notifications that the direct payments have been posted to the account.
• Upload RFD: This option is not available as a default, but can be set on each forwarder if needed.
• Generate a Record Type 39 for Payments: Select this option if your Forwarders typically want to be sent a PCode with payments.
• Generate a Record Type 39 for Costs: Select this option if your Forwarders typically want to be sent a PCode with Costs.
• Suppress Record Type 39 on the Financial Upload Report: Select this option if you prefer for each note code not to be listed on the upload report for the Forwarders.
• Payment Type: Settlement PCode: If choosing to upload a Record Type 30 for Payments By Default for your Forwarders, you can choose a PCode to be sent for Settlements by Default.

Once set, continue on to the other defaults of click the button to save these options. Remember all these options can be changed at the time the Forwarder is added or any time thereafter. If changed after accounts have been download, the download accounts will not respect the new settings.

Record Type 37 - Caption - Legal Name(s)

If your most of forwarder requires a Caption Legal Names record to uploaded. Select the Type 37 tab and setup the options.

Select from the following options:

• Defendant Default: Select to send the Primary Debtor or Debtor 1 and 2's Names in this record.

Once set, continue on to the other defaults of click the button to save these options. Remember this option can be modified when a new Forwarder is added at the Forwarder Level at anytime. The default setting can be changed at anytime as well. Changing the default setting will not update the existing Forwarders.

Record Type 41 - Suit/Judgment Information

If most of your forwarders have the same Suit/Judgment requirements for upload, select the Type 41 Tab and setup the proper settings.

Select from the following options:

• Generate a Record Type 41 For Filings: If most of your forwarders need a 41 sent with the filing information, then select this option and when a filing is entered the filing data will be queued to be uploaded with the next notes upload.
• Include Only Filing Principal: Cannot be set at this level.  It is a Forwarder Level Option only.
• Suppress Upload if only Preferred Court Information Is Present: Cannot be set at this level. It is a Forwarder Level Option only.
• Filing Suit PCodes: The A051 PCode is a default code. It cannot be overridden at this level. You may change it at the Forwarder Level. You may select a second default PCode to be sent when a filing is added.
• Judgment Entered PCodes: The J100 PCode is a default code. It cannot be overridden at this level. You may change it at the Forwarder Level. You may also select a second default PCode to be sent when a judgment is entered.

Once set, continue on to the other defaults of click the button to save these options. Remember these options can be modified when a new Forwarder is added at the Forwarder Level at anytime. The default setting can be changed at anytime as well. Changing the default setting will not update the existing Forwarders.

Record Type 42 - Balance/interest Update

If most of your Forwarders have similar Balance/Interest Update requirements for upload, select the Type 42 tab and setup the proper settings.

Select from the following options:

• 42 for Payments: Select to upload a balance record each time a payment is posted.
• 42 for Costs: Select to upload a balance record each time a cost is posted.
• 42 for Filing/Judgments: Select to upload a balance record time each time a new filing or Judgment is added.
• Include New Interest: This option cannot be set at this level. You can select the option at the Forwarder Level.

Once set, continue on to the other defaults of click the button to save these options. Remember these options can be modified when a new Forwarder is added at the Forwarder Level at anytime. The default setting can be changed at anytime as well. Changing the default setting will not update the existing Forwarders.

Record Type 48 - Service Information

If most of your Forwarders do not need the Service Information record, select the Type 48 tab and setup the proper settings.

• Suppress Record 48 Generation: Set to stop the Service Information Record from being automatically generated.

Once set, continue on to the other defaults of click the button to save these options. Remember these options can be modified when a new Forwarder is added at the Forwarder Level at anytime. The default setting can be changed at anytime as well. Changing the default setting will not update the existing Forwarders.

Record Type 49 - Judgment Execution Information

If most of your Forwarders do not need the Judgment Execution Information record, select the Type 48 tab and setup the proper settings.

• Suppress Record 49 Generation: Set to stop the Judgment Execution Information Record from being automatically generated.

Once set, continue on to the other defaults of click the button to save these options. Remember these options can be modified when a new Forwarder is added at the Forwarder Level at anytime. The default setting can be changed at anytime as well. Changing the default setting will not update the existing Forwarders.

Record Type 62 - Affidavit Record Informaion

Type 62 settings cannot be set at the default level but can be set at the Forwarder Level only.

Continue on to the other defaults of click the button to save these options. Remember these options can be modified when a new Forwarder is added at the Forwarder Level at anytime. The default setting can be changed at anytime as well. Changing the default setting will not update the existing Forwarders.

Miscellaneous

The MISC settings cannot be set at the default level but can be set at the Forwarder Level only.

Continue on to the other defaults of click the button to save these options. Remember these options can be modified when a new Forwarder is added at the Forwarder Level at anytime. The default setting can be changed at anytime as well. Changing the default setting will not update the existing Forwarders.

CEX

The CEX settings cannot be set at the default level but can be set at the Forwarder Level only.

Continue on to the other defaults of click the button to save these options. Remember these options can be modified when a new Forwarder is added at the Forwarder Level at anytime. The default setting can be changed at anytime as well. Changing the default setting will not update the existing Forwarders.

Click the button to exit the UL Defaults screens.
