CollectMax is delivered with a set of pre-defined Status Codes. If desired, you can create unique status codes designed specifically for your CollectMax system.
There are two methods of accessing the New Status Code Window:

To create
a new status code click the button.
This will open the Add Status Code Window:
Code: Enter a numerical code for your Status. Remember that CollectMax has a "Closed" account threshold of 500 and above. Therefore if your new status code is for an open status, be sure the numerical code is less than 500. Conversely, if the new status code is to represent a closed account status, be sure to assign a numerical code greater than 500.
Description: Enter the Description of this Status Code. The status description you enter will appear on the debtor processing screens and optionally will be printed on reports.

Options: Allows
status changes to be tagged to include on reports if tagged history entries
are included. Click
the button and pick one of the following:
Action: Enter an action to be added to the account when the Status changes.
Activity: See Status Code Automation, a Version 7 Feature.
DNC Automation: See Allow Status to Add/Clear DNC, a Version 7 Feature.
Note: Tagging can slow down reports and history displays. Please be sure that your firm really needs and uses tagged history entries.
