What is a Court Identifier?
The court identifier is the shortened code for the court the claim will be litigated in. Only one court identifier can be associated with each claim. By assigning a court identifier to a claim, documents you have setup to print court names and addresses will be able to fill in that information automatically.
From the
claim, select the button or from the
tab
click the
button in the Litigation
area to bring up the Litigation Screen.
Select a
court from the list. If the court is not listed in the
list, click the
button to add a new court
code.
Enter the
court's file number (or case number) associated with this claim in the
File No field. Click
the button.
